After an inspired two months, the Royal on the Park Hotel Brisbane has emerged from it’s refurbishment cocoon and transformed into quite the eye catching ‘butterfly’.

All accommodation rooms and suites have been freshly made over, with lighter hues of cream and whites, new linen and furnishings, bedheads and carpets.

The conference floor is in full swing, hosting many conferences and trade shows. The Grand Ballroom, that can seat up to 420 for dinner is also able to be broken down into 4 smaller conference rooms – handy for smaller groups up to 70. With the added benefit of being on the ground floor, car trade shows (or anything with wheels really) can drive directly into the ballroom! As there are NO pillars, you don’t have to worry about interrupted vision of guests.

The Walnut Restaurant and Lounge Bar also received some TLC in the form of new leather high back armchairs, as well as a new fireplace! The fire place was initially to be within the wall that separated the lobby from the restaurant, but when the builders removed the panelling, the original restaurant entrance was revealed in all of its 60’s glory. With workmanship of the entrance archway impressing the onsite carpenter to the point of breathlessness, it was decided to keep the archway and incorporate the fireplace into it.

With the refurbishment now complete, the Royal on the Park Hotel continues to welcome guests into ‘our home’ and trust you enjoy the newly refurbished hotels warm and welcoming hues of creams and browns. We hope to see you soon.
