How to pull it off

Create a festive atmosphere
And we don’t mean just hanging some streamers up. Your theme doesn’t necessarily need to include costumes, but you can just as easily set the mood through your choice of food, drink, music, table settings, tablecloths etc. Choosing a theme can also help narrow down menu options and décor.

Send an invite, not an email
Once you’ve settled on a theme, you can design an invitation and get your work colleagues excited. Create a fun invite (electronic or paper) and mention the delicious food on offer, door prizes etc – whatever sets the mood. This is also a great opportunity to ask about food allergies or other dietary requirements.

Keep everyone entertained
