We would like to introduce you to two of our key members of staff in this newsletter:

Suzy Thomas

Official Title: Event Coordinator (+ Ad hoc duties + Morning Tea caterer + Switch)













Suzy has extensive experience in the field of events and hospitality, previously working at the iconic Athol Hall Function Centre, Sydney Harbour for over 15 years. Coordinating various high end functions and weddings in this busy and leading venue has allowed Suzy to develop sound organisational and personal skills.

Currently Suzy now coordinates the conferences and exhibitions for EAN along with the Networking Events in each state and liaises with all partners with the network. Suzy also handles all enquiries and ensures the kitchen is stocked with yummy goodies, the date loaf being a favourite!

Aside from being a busy mother of 3 children, Suzy’s passion is for all things snow, seeing her travel across the world to find the perfect powder, an annual quest.

On home term Suzy loves running early in the mornings, a quick dip in the ocean, good coffee and hanging out with the fam. 

Dave McGree 

Official Title: Marketing Manager 

After completing his bachelor of business with a double major in Marketing and Finance, Dave moved into the world of corporate finance. After working in the wholesale investment team at Colonial First State Bank he realised his passion lay in the more creative landscape of the Marketing world. Dave spent 8 years as Marketing Manager at the Direct Group, one of Australia’s largest direct response companies – incorporating such businesses as Innovations, TVSN and Homecare. Dave then left the Direct Group determined to turn an idea he had into a brand new business. He created Signrider Advertising, a new advertising medium that matched up advertisers with drivers who were paid to drive around with advertising signage on their vehicle. 

Dave now oversees all things marketing at EAN, including the website, the databases, the conference and training collateral and networking events and all office practical jokes.

Dave is lucky enough to work from our Queensland 'Office' on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Queensland, where he enjoys anything to do with sports and the outdoors in his time off, spending his time with his young family in between trips to the far corners of the globe
