Dating back to the 1840’s, the substantial rural holding is set on 1,200 acres of working farmland, vineyard and undulating open pastures. Opening in June 2018, the Estate boasts panoramic views of the Macedon Ranges, manicured lawns, gardens and expansive green spaces, a range of contemporary conference and event spaces, historic homestead, private dining space, restaurant, bar and cellar door.
Future expansion will see Marnong Estate become a conference and event planner’s dream with the addition of a providore, microbrewery, coffee roastery, farmer’s market, and children’s farm. We will welcome visitors from near and far with onsite cabins, hotel accommodation and a health and wellness spa. Ideally suited to conferences, meetings, product launches, exhibitions, gala dinners, retreats, family days and outdoor team building activities; allow your guests to escape their day-to-day routine and connect with nature’s changing seasons at Marnong Estate.
You will be sure to inspire guests at your next conference, seminar or meeting with our natural light-filled and flexible meeting spaces hosting between 10-350 guests. Our spaces feature advanced audio-visual facilities and access to technological support combined with complimentary high-speed wi-fi connectivity ensuring that your speakers are fully equipped and prepared to deliver a seamless presentation. Our dedicated Conference and Events team will assist in expertly planning your single or multi-day agenda to ensure a successful and memorable event.
For Adam Upton-Browning our executive chef, the kitchen is a place where his love and passion for creating happy food comes to fruition. By this he means food that is honest, welcoming and brings people together. This ethos ties in perfectly with the owners Mediterranean heritage and vision for Marnong Estate as a place where the community can gather, belong and connect. Since Marnong Estate opened in June 2018, a kitchen garden has been established and an olive and truffle grove are in the works. As Victoria’s first Wagyu farm, the cattle are in prime condition to produce premium dry aged steak. It’s more than just the fresh local produce that is a focus here, we’re also passionate about sustainability with all waste being turned into compost on the 1200-acre working farm. It’s about coming full circle, tying everything together and making a positive impact.
