Karstens is one of Australia and New Zealand’s leading corporate venue organisations, and was founded over 13 years ago. Founder Hendrik Karsten created Karstens in 2006. Having worked over 20 years in the hospitality industry, he experienced hotel and multi-purpose spaces that were crowded, chaotic and not business friendly. Seeing the need to provide corporate clients with higher-level hospitality, in a professional space solely focussed on corporate events, Hendrik created “Karstens”.
Beginning as a one floor venue in Melbourne’s Queen Street, Karstens now spans eight centres across Australia and New Zealand. Each venue is built to provide clients with a solution for their conference, function, and meeting room requirements and experience the Karstens difference.
In every location there is a focus on centrality and accessibility in the heart of the CBD. Prioritising central locations, our venues ensure public transport convenience as well as on-site parking. Inside the venues, the values of Karstens is maintained through the dedicated staff. We empower our team to deliver excellence for our clients in all areas; from booking your room hire to serving the catering on the day.
In every room, in every venue, we have fully equipped the latest technology and infrastructure. This includes comfortable eight-hour chairs, free Wi-Fi, fast fibre optic internet connection and video/telephone conferencing facilities in all rooms (on request).
Out of the conference rooms, all Karstens venues provide breakout rooms. During your break why not sit in our comfortable lounges, with a hot Nespresso coffee? Or Tea? Maybe a biscuit to top it off? Whatever you fancy, our breakout rooms are there for our clients to relax, refresh, and network with others. Also, we offer full gourmet in-house catering with a variety of healthy menu options to accommodate any morning tea, lunch, or afternoon tea needs.
During your stay at Karstens we offer a dedicated Conference Coordinator for all your bookings in Australia and New Zealand. Our coordinator ensures that each of your events is managed seamlessly from start to finish. When you arrive at one of our venues, our staff are there with a smile. At every Karstens and for every booking, our dedicated staff are there for any enquiries. Media troubles? We can help. Printing needed? No worries. Require a couple more chairs? Can do.
