1. Fiji Airways is upping the ante on travelling in style, with the debut of its new premier lounge for business and first class flyers.

Partnering with leading Australian design firm Hecker Guthrie on the multi-million dollar refurbishment, boutique hotel group Lancemore has re-launched the ambitious, new-look property in January 2018, featuring 5 Star Halliday Winery, Lindenderry Wines, and a restaurant that will undo all outdated perceptions of regional hotel dining.

Located in Sydney’s Central Business District and next to the new waterfront leisure and commercial Barangaroo precinct, West Hotel Sydney, Curio Collection by Hilton resides in the ideal location for travellers. This property marks the first Curio Collection by Hilton hotel in Australia. The 182-room new build hotel will be managed by Hilton (NYSE: HLT), under a management agreement with M&L Hospitality.
6. AccorHotels has partnered with Vicinity Centres and Gandel Group to operate the Chadstone Hotel Melbourne under its renowned MGallery by Sofitel brand. The new-build, 250 room hotel will sit alongside fashion complex Chadstone, and will reach 13-storeys high and include two restaurants, a lounge bar, day spa, fitness and meeting facilities.
7.Singapore Airlines has announced a range of changes to its operations in Australia effective from 1 May 2018 providing customers in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra with increased travel options. The most significant change will be to operations in Canberra, with the service to be de-linked from Wellington and increased to daily operations with a new Singapore-Sydney-Canberra-Singapore routing.
