A striking new event space in South Melbourne.
It’s been over a year in the making (and counting…) and now we’re super excited to finally let everyone know about the announcement of Half Acre.
Studio Pasquale and award-winning florist and stylist Michael Strownix have transformed 112 Munro Street into Half Acre - a singular urban sanctuary in Melbourne's industrial south, ensuring the building’s heritage is maintained, restored and highlighted.
The grandeur of the old Mill - with its exposed brick walls and soaring stained timber ceilings, dating to the early 1900s - sets the scene for a relaxed, comfortable, intimate, and unique wedding and event experience.
Half Acre provides the setting for food&desire to deliver a distinctive catering presentation with emphasis on seasonal Australian produce from local suppliers and growers. Now in its 18th year, food&desire consistently delivers spectacular events on every scale, with a reputation for excellence that has made it one of city’s catering leaders. That reputation is rooted in a devotion to the finest food and wine, alongside unparalleled service.
Half Acre will open on the 1st of August 2018.
