EAN Sydney Conference 2017 Series
Why the Sydney conference was such a resounding success – and what that means for the rest of the conferences in the series
The 2017 EAN Conference series is now underway and it is destined to be our greatest ever series based on what we have seen to date, because so many of the speakers will be delivering their presentations all across the country.
We may not have the formal post conference survey results all in, but sometimes you just know what these are going to say. Having sat through all two days of the Sydney conference in March, and having participated in it, I know just how good it was. We had amazing on-site feedback too, but after 20 years’ involvement in educational conferences, I can tell you that no other conference I have been to seemed to resonate with the audience the way this one did.
We have made a lot of major differences to the program line-up this year, but the main one was a stellar cast of top national and international speakers who all absolutely nailed it on stage.
In addition to that though, we also had one of our greatest ever line ups of executives speaking on our panel discussions, and as always these afforded the audience a great opportunity to hear sage advice and ideas straight from the horse’s mouths, so to speak.
Of our keynotes, it would be hard to choose which one was loved the most, and that’s where I’m looking forward to seeing the delegate survey results, so I can see which one was crowned the greatest of all the stars on stage over the two days.
Rowdy McLean was sensational but so too were all the other speakers. Every single one of them connected and thrilled the audience. So, I’ll admit that I would find it really difficult to single any one out if I was completing the survey. But we will leave it to the audience to decide.
As mentioned in the introduction to this edition of the newsletter, we have so many great speakers but the best part of that is that so many of them are going to be speaking at multiple events, with most actually doing all of the conferences in this series.
However, if you missed the conference or haven’t seen any of our features on some of the speakers, these are the keynote speakers we featured in Sydney:
Rowdy Mclean, Jen Harwood, Jane Andersen, Afterburners Australia, Colin Boyd, Nils Vesk, Amanda Stevens, Keith Abraham. If you haven’t heard of them, please feel free to google them and look them up. Every one is sensational and a well renowned expert and speaker.
I’ve included a little bit about each one below as well as a short video where possible to tell you more about who they are:
